Elevated Tanzania Safaris Limited — Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Elevated Tanzania Safaris Limited processes refunds for our safari and tour packages. By booking a trip with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.
General Refund Principles
- All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email to info@elevatedtanzaniasafaris.com
- Refund eligibility is determined by the date we receive the written cancellation request
- The refund amount, if any, will be calculated based on the cancellation schedule in Section 3
- All refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the refund request being approved
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment
Cancellation and Refund Schedule
In the event of a client-initiated cancellation, the following refund schedule will apply:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking and is forfeited upon any cancellation. This amount covers administrative and reservation costs.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount:
- Booking deposits
- International and domestic flight costs
- Accommodation fees or other services secured with third-party providers with non-refundable policies
- Bank, credit card, or transaction fees incurred during payment processing
- Any unused portions of the tour, including no-shows or early departures
Amendments to a Booking
If you wish to amend your booking (e.g., change dates or itinerary), please submit a request in writing. While we will do our best to accommodate these changes, they are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Any changes made will be considered a new booking and may be subject to a new deposit.
Cancellation by the Company
While highly unlikely, Elevated Tanzania Safaris Limited reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). In such a rare event, we will offer one of the following options:
- AA full refund of all monies paid
- BThe option to reschedule the tour to a later date at no additional charge
- CA travel credit for future use, valid for 12 months
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and loss or damage to personal belongings.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, please email us at info@elevatedtanzaniasafaris.com with the following information:
- Your full name and the names of all travelers in your party
- Your booking reference number
- The reason for the cancellation
